Most Internet providers will give you a free email address, we strongly recommend you DO NOT use it. For example, Comcast will give you your.name@comcast.net. The problem with this is if you ever decide to move off Comcast, everyone will have that email address and Comcast won’t let you take it with you. You would have to send out an email to all of your contacts notifying them of your new email address and not everyone will notice it. If you are looking for a free personal email we recommend http://www.gmail.com . They have a very secure system and, in our opinion, great features.
